Refocus Painting is a painting contractor based in Toronto, Ontario. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the quote request form: your name, company, email, phone number, the property address, the kind of work, the date you need it by, any details you add, and the estimate if you attached one. We do not collect anything else about you through this site, and we do not use tracking cookies. See our cookie policy.
Why we collect it
To reply to your request, arrange a walkthrough, and prepare a quote. If you become a client, we also use it to schedule and invoice the work. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell it.
Who handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes your request when you submit the form.
- Resend delivers your request to our inbox by email.
- Our email provider stores the message once it arrives.
These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we delete your request within 24 months. If you do, we keep job and invoice records for as long as tax law requires, which in Canada is generally six years.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to our use of your information and to ask for a copy in a portable format.
If you are not happy with how we handled a request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This site is served only over an encrypted connection. Form submissions are checked on our server before they are sent on, and we keep access to our inbox limited to the people who need it.
